In order to create a new and alternative infrastructure that will be flexible and dynamic to fit the changing conditions and needs of the area of the seine river, we created these floating units, that can be combined together to different shapes and sizes, that will fulfill different functions.
These floating mobile tools offer new possibilities of movement and activity in the city.
These islands creates a range of possibilities-
- Changing circulation, Floating, mobile bridges that allow temporary connections.
- Extensions that creates new spaces, for leisure functions and lodging solutions.
- ‘Green Islands' that floats on water for crops growing, medicinal plants and fresh produce.
- Help in a Flooding emergency situations, living in a wetland during moderate flood conditions, or evacuation for a more extreme situations.

For these floating units, we created a furniture catalog that derivates from the floating dock module. These furniture can be quickly assembled and dismantled, thus creating dynamism and a variety of situations for the different kind of needs.
One case study, is the Impressionists island planning-
At this island there is a planning of an infrastructure for multi-participant festivals and events. The purpose of the floating units, is to create an additional space to help accommodate the amount of participants- Sleeping and lodging areas, camping and private rooms, and an extension to the dining and performance areas. In addition to that, we placed the platforms in a way that can connect the island to key sites in the area such as the golf course, and to create intersections between places and invite people to the area so that they can enjoy the various events.

In order to cope with the time of a flood, we tried to find a quick and convenient solution in order to make it easier and comfortable for patients.
Under all the planned structures, there are docks anchored to the island. during the flood, the anchor disconnects and the structures float. In order to create a pleasant and comfortable environment, the small private buildings connects together with the larger public buildings and create a new unit, kind of a courtyard configuration. At a more severe situation the patients are evacuated to nearby hospitals by our floating solution.
